LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Over 200 builders from around the country gathered on February 5th at the 2020 ICF Builder Awards to honor the impressive work and design feats achieved in the ICF industry over the past year. The judges were looking at the “complexity, creativity, site challenges and media exposure” of each project to determine who received an award.
One recipient, ICF Homes of Virginia, earned their win by creating a stunning custom home in Afton, VA, aptly named Afton Home. Click here to learn more about Afton Home’s incredible award-winning custom design.
Dave Phelps and his team not only created a superb and unique custom home but used their talents to show others the superior building product that is ICF. Through their outstanding work, they were able to display the structural quality, ingenuity, and energy-efficiency of this building technique and further popularize ICF as a lasting, alluring, and versatile option for all types of projects.
Editorial director of ICF Magazine and Builder Award judge Clark Ricks had this to say: “These are milestone projects that have advanced the entire industry due to their significance and visibility. The individuals who design and build these impressive structures are redefining what’s possible with ICF.”
