We had a very pleasant experience with Dave Phelps and ICF Homes. As first time home builders, we were anxious and unsure of what to expect. Experiences that we heard of people building their homes were not positive. From the beginning we were impressed with the integrity of Mr. Phelps. His business plan was clear and he showed a lot of patience when we peppered him with questions. The pride he has in his company transcended to the vendors he employed to build the house. Dave was always available to us and was prompt in returning our calls. We only spoke with him, so there no issues of miscommunication with other employees. He regularly drove to the house to check the progress even though it was an 80 mi one way trip from Fredericksburg. It was a good time in our life and we love living in an energy efficient, quality built I.C.F (insulated concrete form ) home. He’s fun, personable and passionate about a business that is very detail oriented. He sure knows his stuff and translates it into lay terms. Of course, we have recommended him to many.
